In the year 2000,
Jay formulated HORIZON 2015
- the company's vision statement. The vision's
focus is to establish ELGI
as a prominent player internationally by
the year 2015. Whenever a potential customer needs a product that is part
of our core product line, then one of our products should figure in the
shortlist of the customer's options.
Under Jay's guidance, ELGI is totally committed to
consistently delivering products and services of the highest quality and
this philosophy permeates the entire organization.
Previously Jay worked in the United States as a Research Assistant to
study Computerized Marketing Simulation as well as researched on
Euro-bond Markets. Jay has also conducted detailed research studies on the
International Financial Markets, Euro currency Markets, Joint Venture,
Corporate Strategy and Technology Transfers in the United States.
Jay holds a Masters degree in Business
Administration from George Washington University, USA and in addition
received a PhD in International Business from the University of Michigan,
USA.
