ELGi and the Coimbatore Marathon celebrate 10 years of successful partnership

Coimbatore, December 10, 2022: Elgi Equipments Limited (BSE: 522074 NSE: ELGIEQUIP), one of the world’s leading air-compressor manufacturers, has today announced that it has completed over 10 years of partnership with the Coimbatore Marathon ever since the very first edition in 2013. Over the years, the Coimbatore Marathon has been committed to the cause of cancer awareness and has raised a significant sum in proceeds for the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation (CCF). The proceeds have enabled the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation to expand its activities in counselling, screening, awareness creation, palliative care, and financial assistance to cancer patients.

The Coimbatore Marathon will return to full capacity after running virtually for the last two years. The 2022 edition expects participation from over 16,500 people, comprising close to 2000 ELGi employees and their families.
