A large amount of electrical energy is converted into heat energy during the compression process. In regular operations, a large amount of this heat energy goes to waste. ELGi\u2019s Heat Recovery System has been developed to enable users to reuse upto 78% of the heat generated by the air compressors. This heat energy can be utilized for heating water or spacial heating. This process reduces energy consumption significantly compared to using a separate heating source. Apart from the cost saving benefits, the HRS also ensures reduction in CO2 emissions as the heat energy is being reused. An additional device can be included if higher temperatures are required. The Heat Recovery System can be easily plugged along with an air compressor. And the heat energy is reutilised to warm water in showers and air in boilers or any other application as required. <\/p>\n<p>The theoretical recoverable heat in a typical compression system is 96% of the overall electrical energy consumption. It consists of the heat dissipated in the oil cooler (78%), the aftercooler (13%), and the heat radiated from the Drive Motor (5%). The heat dissipated by the oil cooler can be used for heating water, and heat dissipated by an aftercooler and drive motor for supplemental space heating. The remaining 4% heat cannot be recovered since 2% radiates through the canopy and the other 2% vents inside the canopy. <\/p>\n<p>The savings potential on fuel = (Usable energy x operating hours x heating fuel price)\/(calorific value of fuel x heating efficiency)<\/p>\n<div class=\"prod-info-title\">HOW MUCH ENERGY CAN BE SAVED USING A HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM? <\/div>\n<p>All the energy generated in the compressed air system is converted into heat.
