The ELGi #Whatsyourfinishline challenge unites thousands globally

Coimbatore, India and Charlotte/USA October 05, 2019: Elgi Equipments (BSE: 522074 NSE: ELGIEQUIP), one of the world’s leading air-compressor manufacturers recently launched the #whatsyourfinishline challenge in a bid to promote fitness as a means to ward off lifestyle related diseases and promote cancer awareness. The challenge prompted every ELGi employee, distributor, customer, supplier and the community at large to set their own fitness goals, come together and achieve them. In a short span of 40 days, the ELGi #whatsyourfinishline challenge witnessed overwhelming adoption by over 2000 participants, located across USA, Italy, Belgium, Australia, UAE, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and India. Teams comprising of ELGi employees and distributors came together, clocked over 25,000 miles and organized a variety of activities comprising running, walking, cycling, planking, swimming, skipping, yoga, squats, crunches, jogging, and mountain climbing.

The #whatsyourfinishline challenge will culminate with Team ELGi participating at the Coimbatore Marathon in Coimbatore, India and the Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure®, in North America.
