ELGi standard warranty
ELGi’s warranties provide complete peace of mind from the moment of installation. This commitment begins with the standard warranty package, a robust bumper-to-bumper warranty that covers the entire compressor package.
This standard coverage is valid for 12 months from startup or 18 months from shipment, whichever occurs first. It is designed to be truly comprehensive, including parts, labor and transportation (within 100 miles). The warranty covers all components against manufacturing defects and incorrect workmanship, provided the unit is operated under normal conditions. The only exceptions are standard consumables such as filters, oil and seals.
Extended warranty
ELGi offers one of the most comprehensive extended warranty programs in the compressor industry. What sets it apart is that the extended warranty is included at no additional cost and requires no separate service contract purchase. This is a significant competitive advantage to other air compressor brands that typically charge fees or require expensive service contracts for extended coverage.
The extended package warranty applies to all major product series in the US market:
1. EN Series (4 HP-20 HP)
For small automotive shops, fabrication workshops and light manufacturing companies that use the EN Series (EN03 to EN15), ELGi provides strong protection.
Compressor package
- Coverage period: 60 months from commissioning or 66 months from shipment, whichever occurs earlier.
- This covers both parts and labor for the following components:
- Includes: Main motor, fan motor, controller, cooler, separator tank, all static compressor parts, pressure/temperature switches, sensors, gauges, fittings, fasteners, canopy, and canopy parts.
- Excludes: Electrical parts, rubber and plastic parts, consumables and all maintenance kits.
Air end
- Coverage period: 72 months from start-up or 78 months from shipment.
- This covers parts and labor for the air end unit
- Standard Operation: Covered for the full duration.
- Food Grade Exception: Compressors operating on Air Lube FG (food grade) lubricant are limited to a 36-month warranty on the air end.
Variable frequency drive (VFD)
- Coverage period: 36 months from start-up or 42 months from shipment.
- This includes parts and labor for the VFD unit
2. EG Series (15 HP-300 HP)
As the standard for heavy manufacturing, automotive and other industrial facilities, the EG Series (EG11 to EG250) has one of the most robust warranties in the industry.
Compressor package
- Coverage period: 60 months from the date of commissioning or 66 months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs earlier.
- This covers both parts and labor for the following components:
- Includes: Main motor, cooler, separator tank, fan motor, controller, VFD, all static parts of compressor, pressure and temperature switches, sensors and gauges, fittings and fasteners, canopy, and canopy parts.
- Excludes: Electrical parts, rubber and plastic parts, consumables and all maintenance kits.
Air end
- Coverage period: Lifetime warranty.
- The scope of the lifetime warranty is structured as follows:
- Initial Period: Covers replacement of parts and free of cost labor for 120 months from date of start-up or 126 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse in USA, whichever occurs first.
- Extended Period: After the initial period listed above, only parts of the Air End will be replaced free of cost.
3. EQ Series ( 25 HP to 60 HP)
ELGi’s EQ Series of Oil Lubricated Screw Compressors offer an array of features for Industries where size, reliability and cost matters . It has one of the industry leading warranty programs
Compressor package
- Coverage period: 60 months from the date of commissioning or 66 months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs earlier.
- This covers both parts and labor for the following components:
- Includes: Main motor, cooler, separator tank, fan motor, controller, all static parts of compressor, pressure and temperature switches, sensors and gauges, fittings and fasteners, canopy, and canopy parts.
- Excludes: Electrical parts, rubber and plastic parts, consumables and all maintenance kits.
Air end
- Coverage period: 72 months from date of start-up or 78 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse in USA, whichever occurs first.
- This covers parts and labor for the air end unit:
- Standard Operation: Covered for the full duration listed above.

4. OF Series
For critical applications in food processing, pharmaceuticals and electronics, the OF Series of air compressors provides ISO-certified Class 0 oil-free air backed by an industry-leading warranty.
Air end
- Coverage period: 48 months from date of start-up or 54 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse in USA, whichever occurs first.
- This includes parts and labor.
Main motor, lubrication pump motor, capacity control valve and VFD
- Coverage period: 24 months from date of start-up or 30 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse, whichever occurs first.
- This includes parts and labor.
Cooler
- Coverage period: 24 months from date of start-up or 30 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse in USA, whichever occurs first.
- This covers parts and labor for the following configurations:
- Applicability: Applies to both air cooled and water cooled after coolers.
5. AB Series
ELGi AB – “Always Better” assures of zero risk of contamination in the compressed air .The AB Series of air compressors provides ISO-certified Class 0 oil-free air backed by an industry-leading warranty.
Compressor package
- Coverage period: 60 months from the date of start-up or 66 months from the date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse, whichever occurs first.
- This extended warranty covers parts and labor for the following components:
- Includes: Airend, motor, water cooler and after cooler, air-water separator tank, cooling fan, Neuron III+ controller, temperature & pressure sensors, variable frequency drive (VFD),
compressor enclosure and fittings.
- Excludes: Consumables and all maintenance kits.
Electrical, rubber and plastic Parts
- Coverage period: 12 months from the date of start-up or 18 months from the date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse, whichever occurs first.
- Includes: Electrical parts, rubber and plastic parts.
48-hour uptime guarantee
A warranty is only as good as the manufacturer's ability to honor it quickly. There is a price to be paid for waiting for a part. ELGi answers this challenge with a unique commitment that sets itself apart from all competitors: the 48-hour uptime guarantee.
This guarantee applies to all products under either a standard or extended warranty. The commitment is straightforward: ELGi will ship replacement parts within 24 hours of notice during standard business hours. If the compressor is not operational within 48 hours due to a lack of those parts, ELGi provides a rental reimbursement.
The reimbursement coverage is tiered based on the compressor's horsepower:
- Up to 50 HP: $1,500 reimbursement
- 55 HP -100 HP: $2,500 reimbursement
- Above 100 HP: $3,500 reimbursement
This coverage is available for up to 10 days of rental from a pre-approved comparable replacement compressor.
