In my role as Area Sales Manager for North-Italy, I have to ensure a correct Channel Partner network management in terms of sales and development. I am constantly in touch with existing Channel Partners, and looking for new ones according to the area’s potential. My main target is to increase the ELGi market share and to increase the brand awareness to meet our defined targets.
I joined ELGi on the 1st of April, 2020, as I was looking for a new development project for myself. ELGi is a rather new company in the European and Italian market and I really saw the possibility to do something different in a challenging environment. ELGi itself is also different compared to its competitors with regards to the approach and support we provide, and I really appreciate this. I joined ELGi from a managerial position at another large air compressor manufacturer but I was really looking for a new challenge and to kick off a new business in the region, resulting into a high two-digit growth.
ELGi is different when comparing it to other companies, we conduct business differently, we are more flexible, and offer a different approach with more support to our partners and customers and this is why I enjoy working at ELGi. Additionally, I see a lot of passion in place to obtain important targets which in turn makes me personally also more passionate about reaching this common goal.
I am the Service and Aftermarket Manager for Europe. In this position, I help our ELGi Channel Partners from a technical side, provide technical training for them, help them order our Aftermarket solutions, and do physical site visits to end customers with our partners in case technical assistance is required. I also help with troubleshooting, managing warranty repairs, and helping them with our IT systems.
I joined ELGi in January 2020 as I wanted to make part of a growing company. Our main mission is to Always Be the Choice everywhere for our customers in Europe and Eastern Europe, and of course, this is a challenging mission but this is what I also enjoy about it.
I am Gianluca Verra, Technical Support Manager at ELGi Europe. In my role, my responsibility is to support the Service Managers across Europe and ensure constant technical updates.
In 2003 I joined ROTAIR, an Italian manufacturer of portable air compressors. In 2012 ELGi acquired ROTAIR and this is how I joined ELGi.
We have a great work environment with an exceptional team, with a great collaboration. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy working at ELGi. Further to this, ELGi is a fast-growing company with ambitious goals, so every day is inspiring for me.
My name is Niccolo Casini and I work in ELGi as Product Manager of Europe. As a Product Manager, my primary focus is to make sure we have a portfolio of products that address the needs of our European customers and that we keep our product offering up to date with the latest customer demands.
To do this, I’m in contact with our sales organizations, with Channel partners, end users and with our Product Management and Technology organization in our Home Office in Coimbatore, India.
I am also responsible for the launch of new products in Europe and for the training of the Area Sales Managers on the new product value proposition.
I joined ELGi in January 2020 because it was a great opportunity to join a growing and expanding company, where I feel I can make an impact through my work.

Each person is focused on how to improve our products and processes and is open to finding solutions together to better serve our customers.
As an Application Engineer, I'm responsible for preparing tenders of complete compressed air installations and I support the European sales teams on technical and commercial issues throughout the project phases. Further to this, I work on the preparation of sales tools, product documentation and support the daily business with technical questions and complex quotations. I help to develop the business together with the sales and service organizations by working closely with the engineering, product, and business development teams.
I decided to be part of ELGi inspired by the idea of getting to know a different business culture, learning about a new product and industrial process, and seeing that it meant to transfer to Belgium, so, have a life experience in another country, discovering other interests, and learning a new language. I joined ELGi in September 2021.
I enjoy working at ELGi because it’s a very dynamic environment, I am constantly learning and it is not only about compressors but also about other equipment such as air treatment units, generators, filters, and other components that as a whole are of great importance in many industries. My team is very collaborative, passionate and each one gives the best of themselves. It is rewarding to work in a company that seeks continuous improvement.
My position at ELGi is Supply Chain Manager for Europe. In this position, I am responsible for Order Management and I coordinate all activities from order to delivery by liaising with internal colleagues and our customers, together with the help of my team.
I joined ELGi in May 2021 as I was fascinated by ELGi’s exciting expansion strategy in the compressed air market. This challenge offered me a chance for professional growth and learning and I wanted to be part of it and to contribute to this growth.

I joined ELGi as Marketing Manager for Europe in November 2019. In my role, I am responsible for increasing our brand awareness, while also supporting the Sales Teams in lead generation and local events. As we are a growing company, we have many exciting challenges that we have already overcome since I joined and that we are still going to have to overcome, which is a great way to learn and to expand your own expertise. Furthermore, we are all aligned working towards a vision. This is also one of the reasons why I joined ELGi.
As Finance Director, my role is to support the development of our activity in Europe which is a truly exciting challenge. My job is to foster this growth by combining speed and cost prudence ensuring quality in the execution of our decisions and our actions.
I joined ELGi in February 2020, and I have realized that the values of trust and respect are not just words at ELGi. They are deeply rooted in each of the employees. I have been able to verify this when I met all my colleagues across Europe and the rest of the world. It is therefore an ideal working environment to develop yourself and to feel self-accomplishment.
I see a lot of enthusiasm in the teams around me but also in the Channel Partners across Europe. All are convinced of the quality of the products and services we offer.
ELGi started its European Operations in 2019, and I was the first person at ELGi Europe joining our President, Chris Ringlstetter, in May 2019. I am very proud to be part of ELGi’s growing family today.
As Office Manager & DPO for Europe, I am managing our office in Waterloo, Belgium, and work closely with Finance monitoring controls over Accounts Payable. I am supporting the Team whenever they need guidance on their activities and I am contributing to the efficient running of the office.
In November 2020, I obtained a GDPR certificate proving that I know all the requirements of European General Data Protection Regulations. This certifies that I am fully competent in performing the role of Data Protection Officer.
In the role as Data Protection Officer, I am able to advise the organisation and provide support to the different departments and regions in order to ensure compliance with GDPR while leveraging external support when required.
I enjoy working at ELGi because ELGians are always available to support each other. I am happy to say that I have high job satisfaction. As a company, ELGi is not just sensitive to customers’ needs but also to the ones of its employees. It is a privilege to work with a company that has sensitivity at the core of its values.
No two days are ever the same and every single day is a new adventure. I get to work with a variety of people, both internally and externally: I never know who I will be in touch with next.
What’s even more exciting is to face challenges and problems every single day, sometimes every single minute! I am learning constantly, may it be straight from my boss, or from collaborating with other colleagues, or simply by solving problems and tackling projects.
