ELGi Quest Series expansion delivers greater efficiency and reliability for high-capacity applications

Charlotte, NC: ELGi North America (ELGi) has expanded its EQ ‘ELGI Quest’ Series of oil- lubricated, direct-drive rotary screw air compressors to include models with higher horsepower capabilities.

The EQ Series is now offered in 40 hp – 60 hp models to meet the higher-capacity needs of manufacturing, vehicle service stations, metalworking and woodworking applications. This completes the EQ range from 25 hp – 60 hp with both fixed and variable speed configurations.

The ELGi Quest Series excels in the most demanding environments, operating efficiently in dusty and humid conditions with ambient temperatures up to 122 °F. The series includes a uniquely designed integrated intake and blowdown valve design that reduces starting loads and significantly lowers unload power, enhancing efficiency and reducing wear over time.

An optional Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) adapts motor speed to match air demand, minimizing electrical consumption. Complementing this adaptability is the Neuron XT controller, an industry-grade system renowned for its advanced fail-safe features and ease- of-operation.
