ELGi Launches Game Changing Warranty Programme

Committed to ensuring zero downtime and maximum efficiency for every customer

Waterloo, Belgium, 27 November 2020: ELGi Compressors Europe, a subsidiary of ELGi Equipments Limited, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, introduced today one of the industry’s most extensive standard warranty programmes covering the EG and EN ranges of oil lubricated screw air compressors as well as the AB Series of oil free air compressors. This introduction is in line with ELGi’s commitment to being ‘Always Better’ and ‘Always being the choice everywhere’.

Across Europe, most warranty programmes available have several limitations. For example the standard warranty for new units typically span just 12 months, and extensions often comprise of exceedingly complex terms and clauses for the customer to navigate. To address these challenges, ELGi Europe has introduced a simplified and extended standard warranty package, the highlights of which are listed below:

The EG Series, oil lubricated screw air compressors (11 – 250KW)

10 years warranty on the airend.

The EN Series, oil lubricated encapsulated screw air compressors (2.2 – 45KW)

6 years warranty on the airend.

The AB Series oil free screw air compressors (37 – 90KW)

5 years warranty on the airend.

For all remaining parts of the EG, EN and AB Series

5 year warranty on the compressor package including the motor and cooler.

3 years on the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for the VFD versions.

1 year on all other electrical and rubber parts.
